About Us

We’re not just psychologists with doctoral degrees. We’ve wrestled with our own challenges and helped individuals from all walks of life through theirs. Over a decade of personal and professional experience in clinical, industrial, and organizational psychology has taught us one thing: everyone’s journey is uniquely messy—and that’s completely normal.

Our commitment

Our Commitment to you

Our approach combines evidence-based practices with a deep appreciation of your unique journey. Drawing from a diverse range of techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, and the Gottman Method, we tailor our tools to align with your personal needs, communication style, and goals. Every session is guided by compassion and care, ensuring the approach resonates with you.

We recognize that each person’s story is uniquely shaped by their cultural heritage, family background, ethnicity, race, gender, and life experiences. Our care honors your cultural identity, family history, and the wisdom and traditions you carry from your community. We embrace the complex interplay between your personal journey and your family’s story, the impact of intergenerational experiences and cultural transitions, and the unique ways your identity intersects with societal contexts. While focusing on your individual path, we also acknowledge the collective experiences that have shaped you. Additionally, we understand the influence of modern challenges such as social media, tech overwhelm, societal pressures, and constant connectivity, and we integrate these realities into our holistic approach.

We’re not here to “fix” you. We’re here to understand and validate your experiences, respecting your pace and goals. Our mission is to provide insights and tools that resonate with you, empowering you to navigate life’s messy moments and unexpected detours—on your own terms.

My journey is one of resilience, identity, and navigating the in-between spaces. Born in Vietnam and raised in California, I grew up balancing my Vietnamese heritage with the American way of life. This unique experience has deeply influenced how I connect with others—bringing empathy, curiosity, and an appreciation for the complexities of every individual’s story. I’m passionate about supporting people as they navigate their own paths toward growth, healing, and connection.

I’ve been fortunate to train in both Northern and Southern California, developing a diverse set of skills in therapy, psychological assessment, and advocacy. My professional experience spans community mental health settings and hospitals, where I’ve worked with children, teens, and adults across the lifespan. My clinical expertise includes therapy, comprehensive evaluations, and specialized assessments, such as medical decision-making capacity evaluations, bariatric evaluations, and more.

I am continually inspired by the strength and resilience of those I have the privilege to serve. I understand that therapy can feel daunting at times, and I strive to create a safe, warm, and trusting environment where growth and healing can flourish.

My clinical approach is holistic, integrative, and strength-based, with a deep respect for sociocultural backgrounds and individual differences. I view therapy as a collaborative process and tailor my methods to meet each client’s unique needs, drawing from Psychodynamic (Object Relations), Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, Attachment, and Family Systems approaches.

I have worked with children, couples, and families in diverse settings, addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, adjustment, bipolar disorders, PTSD, OCD, relational distress, grief, life transitions, and more. I take great pride in my work and remain dedicated to ongoing learning to better support my clients.

With a strong foundation in forensic, clinical, and health psychology, I bring a multifaceted approach to understanding and supporting human behavior. Growing up in a rural community in Montana instilled in me the value of resilience and connection, which continue to guide my work. My professional journey has taken me through the Pacific Northwest and California, where I honed my skills in therapy, leadership, and consulting.

I am particularly passionate about psychological assessment, utilizing my expertise to provide comprehensive evaluations that help individuals and organizations better understand strengths, challenges, and potential pathways for growth. Whether working directly with clients, guiding teams, or offering strategic insights, I strive to create meaningful impact through a balance of evidence-based practice and genuine human connection.
